Commission A Discusses KUA-PPAS along with Mayor and Regent

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission A opens a meeting about the 2020 budget priorities and preliminary threshold (KUA-PPAS) along with the mayor and regent.

It was led by the Commission A Chairman Mujiyono and attended by Central Jakarta Mayor Bayu Meghantara; North Jakarta Mayor Sigit Wijatmoko; East Jakarta Mayor M Anwar; South Jakarta Mayor Marullah Matali; West Jakarta Mayor M Zen and Thousand Islands Regent Husein Murad.

Jakarta DPRD Commission A Chairman Mujiyono said the outputs of various programs and activities are improved public services.

"There are many components and have been decomposed. We see the enthusiasm and curiosity of the extraordinary council members, especially with regard to providing input or correction," he expressed, at Jakarta Council Building, Monday (10/28) night.

He explained good service is not just attitude, talk, smile, but must prioritize comfort, disability-friendly, and environmentally friendly.

"Accessibility for disabled is very important, including in urban village offices," he explained.

He added the Go Green concept in government offices must also be implemented properly.

"This needs to be improved from time to time," he explained.

Jakarta DPRD's Commission A Vice Chairman Inggard Joshua said there are several inputs from council members that need to be followed up with regard to the 2020 KUA-PPAS.

"Our input is about the problem of standardizing the construction of urban village and sub-district offices that must be solved, public service and community empowerment," he told.

Central Jakarta Mayor Bayu Meghantara explained one of the proposals submitted is related to the rehab of the Central Jakarta Mayor's office, next year.

"We want to give more comfort to people, including disabled as the rehabilitation includes the installation of guiding blocks and repair of elevators," he told.

Then for urban village office that will get repair in 2020 is Utan Panjang with a budget of Rp 8 billion.

"The building condition is very worrying," he explained.

Aside that the government also plans to add more education rooms for toddlers (PAUD) in 21 urban villages that are rated as densely populated.

"We'll realize it next year to facilitate kids to get education near the home environment," he stated.
